You can snag a Momentum Robbi for less than US$40 at Walmart

Back in August, we reviewed the Momentum Robbi home security camera and we found it to be a decent little security camera for the price. It’s not perfect by any means but it does offer some value and does a pretty good job for what it is. The Momentum Robbi has a retail price of just under US$100, which isn’t horrible for what you get, but now, Walmart has an exclusive price of US$38.88 on this little camera.

That under US$40 price is pretty great. While I can say the Momentum Robbi is decent at the US$100 price, I can safely say that at this low Walmart price, you might really consider it if you’re looking for an indoor security camera. The Robbi has its quirks and I never could get it to work with my Google Pixel 3 XL, it works just fine with Samsung and Apple devices.

It’s small enough to tuck away in a hidden spot.

In our review, we dinged the Robbi for having a cheap build quality and that is true at the US$100 price. But at this new sub-US$ 40 price, the build quality now matches the price. Momentum still has a bit of work to do on its app, it could use a refresh but the app works fine, other than its aesthetic look.

The best thing about the Momentum Robbi is probably its local storage option. Many home security cameras are linked to cloud services which end up costing you a monthly fee if you want anything more than 24-hours of video. The Robbi has a MicroSD card slot allowing you to keep what you want as long as you want it.

At this US$38.88 price, the Robbi is certainly a must consider if you’re needing an indoor security camera. Be sure to check out Walmart’s website to see if they have these in stock in your area.
