Leo’s Fortune, the award winning iOS game, will be landing in the Google Play store this July 1oth so be ready Android users! I reviewed the game on the iOS platform here on Techaeris and it’s an absolutely fabulous piece of art! From the music and characters to the stunningly beautiful graphics you will want to buy this game. I’m not sure how they will offer the game up on Android but on iOS it’s a one time purchase with no in app purchases or any advertisement. Things may be a little different on Android but either way, the game is absolutely brilliant. Check out the Leo’s Fortune trailer after the break.

Nintendo Quarterly Losses Greater Than Anticipated

NintendoLogo

I’m not going to lie, seeing Nintendo floundering as they have recently makes me sad.  This is a company that was a part of so many of our childhoods that just can’t seem to figure out how to pull themselves together.  Bloomberg is reporting that Nintendo has posted an even greater 4th quarter loss than analysts forecast, even after slashing expectations significantly.

Take To The Skies: Dragons And Titans, A MOBA From WyrmByte

Dragons-Wallpaper

First things first, this review is going to assume a certain level of knowledge of the MOBA genre. Gaming-rage-smashed-controller

We’ve all seen the headlines – Violent Video games Cause Aggression!  But what if they didn’t?  Video games and gaming in general have grown significantly in a relatively short amount of time.  It’s easy to see how games, and the people that play them can be misunderstood.  The University of Rochester has conducted a study and found that the cause of most aggression in gamers stems from their failure and frustration during gameplay, not the violent content of the games they play.

CNET is reporting that Gamestop will be opening another 300-400 stores over the next year. But these stores will be selling Apple products and other mobile devices. We all know GameStop as one of the biggest gaming retailers out there, they’re not hard to find. Well, the company is aiming for a broader growth footprint branching out from gaming products to technology products. GameStop’s “Technology Brands” division already operates 200 of these types of stores in the United States and they generate around $63 million dollars in annual revenue. And let’s face it, technology products, especially mobile, wearable and portable products, are just growing in popularity and demand so it seems a natural way to go.

Review: Stinkyboard by Stelulu – PC Gaming With Your Feet

Stinky Logo

Are you ready to get Stinky?  I wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into when I agreed to review the Stinky gaming footboard by Stelulu.  I must’ve missed their successful Kickstarter campaign last year, so I had to do a bit of research while I was waiting for my review unit to arrive.  The Stinky is a USB foot controller for PC – console models may be available in the future.  It currently allows any keystroke from the keyboard to be bound to one of four Cherry MX switches on the footboard.  I play a lot of PC games, and have feet, so I waited patiently for my Stinky to arrive.
