It’s no secret that Microsoft is working on at least one flagship Windows Phone device under the Microsoft Lumia brand to be released later this year, hopefully around the same time Windows 10 for phones hits the market. Phone website Unleash the Phones has apparently received the specs of not one but two high-end Microsoft Lumia phones.
The first is a premium 5.7″ Quad HD device codenamed “Cityman” which will feature a Qualcomm 64-bit octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB of storage space with microSD slot, a 20MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and a 3300 mAh removable battery.
The second device is rumored to come in at 5.2″ and will also feature a Quad HD display. Dubbed “Talkman,” it will sport the same specifications as the “Cityman” model but will instead use a 64-bit 6-core processor and consist of a 3000 mAh battery. The “Talkman” model is expected to be slimmer than the Lumia 930. The cameras in both devices will supposedly have a triple-LED flash to allow for natural looking photos when taken with the flash.
Another interesting rumour comes not on the hardware front but the software side. Supposedly Windows 10 for phones will allow you to answer a call coming into your Windows Phone on your Windows 10 PC, and will also allow you to initiate a call or send an SMS through your phone via your PC.
We’ve reviewed a few Windows phones lately here at Techaeris, and aside from a bit of a miss on the budget side have been pretty impressed with the devices. If these specs for high-end Microsoft Lumia devices hold true, these devices should definitely be interesting and be able to pull their weight in an already crowded smartphone market.
With the upcoming Windows 10 upgrade and these rumoured Microsoft Lumia specs, is it enough to sway you to purchase a Windows Phone? Let us know in the comments below, or on Google+, Facebook, or Twitter.Source: Unleash the Phones
