Fight the gods in next month’s Assassin’s Creed Origins update

The game hasn’t even been out for a week (check back soon for our in-progress review) and Ubisoft is already talking about the November Assassin’s Creed Origins update.

Perhaps the biggest technical portion of the update will be readying the title for the launch of the Xbox One X on November 7th. The update will also include additional HDR support for all supported platforms and stability fixes.

The update that has me the most excited is the Trials of the Gods which will allow you to hunt down and face off against the Egyptian Gods, starting with Anubis on November 7th. Not much is known at this point but Ubisoft mentions they’ll have more details soon.

As is the norm these days, new in-game store weapons and mounts will be available throughout the month as well in the form of packs and bundles starting on November 7th. The “Roman Centurion Pack” will be available on November 7th and includes gear, a mount, and a new outfit. The “Nightmare Pack” includes four weapons and a mount and hits November 14th, the “Horus Pack” on November 21st with gear, a mount, and a new outfit, and finally, the “First Civilization Pack” on November 28th will include four weapons and a mount. The “Roman Centurion Pack” and “Horus Pack” are included in the season pass and the other two will be purchasable in-game via Helix Credits or by chancing your luck with Heka Chests in the Nomad Bizzare.
