Just when we thought the HMD Global Nokia 8 was the high-end flagship device to come out with the Nokia name this year, think again. Leaks have surfaced online about an upcoming Nokia 9. We’d already seen rumors of this device back in July packing a high-end processor just like the Nokia 8 that came out back in August. Thanks to the FCC, we got a glimpse of some specs of what the Nokia 9 should have on the inside.

The Nokia 9 is rumored to have small front bezels

To start out the phone will have a similar look to the Nokia 8, but there will be very minimal bezels on the forehead and chin of the phone. It’s following the trend of all the phones this year and most likely phones to come out for the next few years. As of right now, all we really get to see is the front of the phone, but it already gives us an idea of what the whole phone will look like. The screen size comes in at 5.5 inches and will be an OLED display from LG, but no resolution was given, which is a bit unfortunate. There are two front-facing cameras and one of them is 5MP from the leaks below and for the rear, it’s a dual 12+13MP lens camera. It may be the same “Dual-Sight” feature that lets you take photos and video at the same time like the Nokia 8 does.

Onboard is the Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform SoC but no RAM was mentioned. Storage comes in at 128GB, which is more than plenty for those who may end up getting the phone, especially if this is the only storage model the company is releasing for this device. Battery size is 3,250mAh and will be quick charge capable with the 18W adapter that comes in the box along with a pair of headphones.

With this being a leak from the internet, we all should know to take this with a grain of salt until HMD Global officially announces the phone. Even though the Nokia 9 doesn’t come out this year and should be expected to be out by January 19th, 2018, do any of you guys plan on purchasing this device for yourself?
