Fortnite Season 5 is here with new improvements, bug fixes, double pump fixes (finally), a new area, and more! There are all new challenges that allow for players to get more emojis, skins, pickaxes, XP, and V-Bucks. Things are a little different this season in regards to the challenges. Epic has split up the challenges to allow players who don’t have a Battle Pass to get some free ones done each week. Those who did purchase a Battle Pass will still see the same challenges with some bonus challenges for having the Pass.

Let’s dive right into the challenges! There are still seven of them, but as mentioned above, they’ve been split into two groups each with their own “hard” challenge. Those who do not have the Battle Pass will have to build 250 structures. This is probably the easiest task that you can get done if you join the 50v50 mode. Next up is to jump through five flames rings with either a shopping cart or an ATK. The hard challenge is to eliminate opponents while in Dusty Divot.

Those players with the Battle Pass will still get the three challenges mentioned above plus four more. In the first challenge, you will need to deal 500 damage to opponents with Sniper rifles. The second challenge is to search for seven chests in Flush Factory.  The third challenge is to search between a gas station, soccer pitch, and Stunt Mountain. As for the fourth and final challenge for the week, you will need to eliminate three opponents with a pistol.

Week 4 challenges

Free

  • Build structures (250): 5 Battle Stars
  • Jump through flames with a shopping cart or ATK (5): 5 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Eliminate opponents in Dusty Divot (1): 10 Battle Stars

  • Hard:  Search between a gas station, soccer pitch, and Stunt Mountain: 10 Battle Stars
  • Hard: Pistol eliminations (3): 10 Battle Stars

Check back next week for the Season 5 Week 5 to see what Epic Games has in store for all those who like getting challenges done first and then taking out enemies and claiming victory as the last one standing.
