OnePlus is always doing its own thing and today, they kicked it up a notch. The OnePlus iPhone 6s case is now available for purchase… wat O_o
This is no ordinary case either. The case has the same sandstone finish as the OnePlus One and the OnePlus Two, which is quite popular with users. The texture makes the phone grippy, while also managing to feel good in the hand. And no, you don’t need an invite to buy this case.
That’s not all. Every purchase of this case gets you an invite to buy a OnePlus X, you know, just in case even this case cannot make you like that iPhone you bought. Of course, I’m just assuming that that’s what OnePlus is thinking with this move. Some cases will get you an invite to purchase the limited edition ceramic OnePlus X and a select few will even get you a free OnePlus X.
The OnePlus Sandstone case for iPhone will not magically solve all your problems. But it’s a sturdy polycarbonate construction that adds both protection and grippiness, plus it feels good. Really, it’s one of those things that you don’t understand until you try it.
We made a limited number of cases for the holiday season. Each one comes with a physical OnePlus X invite in the packaging – but it’s no regular invite. It could be a limited edition Ceramic invite, or maybe even a free device. Make sure to claim it to see if you got lucky.
For now, there’s no news of a case for the iPhone 6s Plus. OnePlus says that this case fits both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s and given the slight difference in thickness, this case probably isn’t very tight fitting. You can pick one up on OnePlus’ online store for $19.99 which is about the same as an equivalent case for any other OnePlus device. It’s also another way to get a OnePlus X invite, if you really want one.
