Birth of a Monster | A Star Wars Story: Proving yet again that fan films are awesome

The Star Wars library of films, TV shows, and other media is extensive and most of it is fantastic. But there has been some mixed reaction to the latest Disney released material and that’s where fan films help fill in the void. Birth of a Monster | A Star Wars Story is yet another fan film that proves yet again that the fans can sometimes make better movies than Hollywood.

Birth of a Monster is the story of a young boy and his busted up junk pile of a droid. The pair have a strong friendship and bond, reminding us of Luke Skywalker and C3PO. The droid and young boy’s adventure is one of discovery on the desert planet of Tatooine. That sounds familiar, doesn’t it? What they end up discovering shapes the future of one of the original trilogy films.
