X-O Manowar #22 review: Another arc wraps up
Right now, I can’t really recommend this book until there is some sort of course correction to make it worthwhile.

Skip this series. Go back and read any of the past series from Jeff Lemire and just spare yourself the boredom here.
Ninja-K has been, without a doubt, the best Valiant book this last year and I would urge everyone to pick up these 14 issues and enjoy them.
I’m convinced that writer Matt Kindt has Superman Syndrome.
Writer Jody Houser is still weaving a great pop culture-infused point of view from Faith, which anyone in geekdom can relate to.
I’m going to be honest here. I’m not a fan of this book. I’m not a fan of this story.
The art by Francis Portela, with colors by Andrew Dalhouse, and lettering by Dave Sharpe are the visuals we’ve come to expect from this series.
The art by Raul Allen and Patricia Martin is what you got with Secret Weapons, so it feels right at home in this book.
I’m not sure if anything in the comic is going to be echoed in the movie but this is Valiant’s way of creating the excitement.
Gilad goes from looking like a Native American in one panel to Conan the Barbarian in the one below it.
Quantum & Woody get their KLANG! on in this issue!!!
This looks like it will be a fun 4 issue mini-series that just hits all the right marks that a Faith book should hit.
Let the speculation begin as to how our Valiant Universe is going to help protect Livewire from the massing government forces that are out to bring her in.
I think that this is a good beginning to this new arc and after that long flashback arc, it is good to be excited once again for where the story is taking Aric.
The art by Roberto De La Torre and colors by José Villarrubia are beautiful and perfect for this title.
This issue is told from a present perspective after the HW2 has already ended.
In the last issue, Livewire plunged America into darkness, shutting down all of the technology in protest over how psiots were being treated.
Quantum & Woody! is a hilarious book with tons of one-liners and plenty of action.
If you don’t know, X-O Manowar is a Visigoth King, taken from his home in the past by aliens called the Vine.
The best part about the story was seeing how Shadowman got his weapon from the Abettors.
Ninjak is my favorite Valiant character, in fact, this is my favorite current comic book character!
After a bit of lag time in the middle of the series, it feels like we’re back to a good place with this issue. Bloodshot “feels” like he is back.
