Apple’s Big Lesson For Google, Inaction Will Cost You The Throne.
The following article reflects my personal opinion, it does not reflect that of my employer, or the Techaeris staff.
“Don’t be like Apple.”
“That was such an Apple move.”
“Android will NEVER be like Apple.”
“Samsung is the new Apple.”

HTC M8, Samsung S5, It’s Your Turn Apple
HTC just announced and unveiled their newest flagship phone, the HTC One M8. The M8 is the much anticipated follow up to last year’s HTC One M7. Initial impressions and reactions seem to be positive for the M8. Having owned the M7 before my current iPhone 5s, my initial impressions of the M8 are also positive. It seems HTC has managed to take an excellent design and make it that much better.

Google Facing Potential Class Action Suit Over In-App Purchases
A mother has filed a class action complaint in California against Google over in-app purchases made by her son. The story begins with the mother buying a 99¢ game, Marvel Run Jump Smash, for her son. By buying the game, her Google account was left authenticated for 30-minutes (by design) so that in-app purchases would not require a password. In that 30-minute window, her son bought $65.95 in virtual in-game currency known as crystals.
Kickstarter Prescient AudioCase for iPhone 5/5s & Galaxy S4
I’ve used many cases in my time as a blogger and smartphone user. Everything from a simple bumper to a heavy duty waterproof/dustproof case. I’ve even used a decent amount of power cases. But Prescient Audio is making something just a bit different from what I’ve ever used before. The AudioCase is not only a protective case and extra battery. It also houses a premium speaker inside which Prescient Audio is saying will deliver high quality sound. It’s really a neat concept and one we hope can deliver. Check out the video below.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Announced At Mobile World Congress
Samsung Pokes Some Pencil Humor At Apple In Their Latest Ad
By now most everyone is aware of the Apple and Samsung wars, well most everyone who’s a mobile phone geek that is. The rest of the world generally goes on about their daily lives because none of this is that important. But I digress. Let’s get back to the lighthearted mud slinging shall we. We all know (us geeks) about Apple’s iPad Air commercial in which they used a pencil to show how thin the device really was.

Review: iBattz Battstation Tough Dual Pro 12000 mAh
I think that we can all agree that an external battery pack is really expected to do one thing – charge stuff. I can say with the utmost certainty that the iBattz Battstation Tough Dual Pro 12000 mAh does that with aplomb. With 12,000 mAh of portable power, this spare will charge your devices far longer than many other portable batteries on the market. With that out of the way, I feel that it’s probably more beneficial to discuss some of the things that set the iBattz apart from it’s competitors.

Google Continues Cross Patent Campaign; This Time With Cisco
Google continues to extend a hand of cooperation to its competitors in the industry. First they sealed a deal with Samsung and Ericsson, in which they cross licensed each others patents. Now they’ve done the same with Cisco, effectively bringing their disagreements to an end. Google is taking a proactive approach to this whole thing and in my opinion, this is what’s best for not only Google and their partners, but for the consumer as well. Here’s what Cisco had to say about this recent deal with Google.
